Privacy Policy

Flyway at theflyway.work helps people find ESG and climate opportunities. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you browse the site, sign in, save jobs, or use membership features. Contact the site operator at bzscdylm@gmail.com with privacy questions.

Information we collect

When you sign in with Google, Google provides your account identifier, email address, basic profile name, and profile picture where available. Our authentication service, Supabase, stores this identity information and sign-in records. We also store your account role, saved jobs, membership status, and related account records.

We request only basic Google identity permissions for sign-in. We do not request access to Gmail messages, Google Drive files, calendars, or contacts. Your Google password stays with Google.

When you contact us, we receive the information you choose to include. Hosting and authentication services may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, request times, and error or security logs needed to operate the service.

How we use information

We use account information to authenticate you, keep your saved jobs available, manage membership access, respond to support requests, and protect the site from abuse. We use Google identity information for these account functions. We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising.

Service providers and sharing

Supabase provides authentication and database storage. Tencent Cloud hosts the website. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives the network information needed to deliver those fonts. These providers process information as part of delivering their services; processing may take place outside your country.

If you use an available paid checkout, Stripe processes the payment. We send Stripe your account identifier and email address to connect the purchase to your account, and retain customer or subscription identifiers and membership status. Payment card details are entered with Stripe rather than stored in our website database.

We may disclose information when required by law or when necessary to investigate abuse or protect the service and its users. Following a job application link takes you to another website, whose privacy policy applies to information you submit there. Your Flyway account information is not included in those application links.

Cookies and storage

We use authentication cookies to keep you signed in. Your browser also stores your light or dark theme preference locally. Blocking authentication cookies can prevent account features from working. Signing out ends your current website session.

Retention and your choices

We retain account information while your account is active and as needed to operate it. You can remove saved jobs through the website. For access, correction, or account deletion, email bzscdylm@gmail.com from the address associated with your account; we may need to verify ownership before acting. Some records may need to be retained for legal, payment, security, or backup purposes.

You can also revoke Flyway's Google access in your Google Account settings. Revoking access prevents future authorization through that connection; to remove information already stored by Flyway, request account deletion separately.

Changes to this policy

We will publish changes on this page and update the effective date. Material changes to how we use Google account information will be disclosed before we apply them.
